In an area with a strong wine vocation, between the Langhe and Monferrato, the "Cantina Sociale di Canelli" (Canelli Co-operative Wine Growers' Association) has been producing the classic wines of Piedmont since 1933, working with absolute respect for the traditions.The "Cantina Sociale di Canelli" is nowadays a production reality that brings together over 200 vine-growers.
The wide assortment of products includes the most prestigious wines of the Asti area - reds obtained from the grapes of old vines, light, fresh and fruity whites,sweet and dry Spumanti. The buildings of the Cantina stretch over more than two thousand square metres, and it's here that the various production phases take place, until the final product is obtained.
The values of the first vine-dressers are still unchanged today: the obstinacy and the commitment to invest in plant and technology are the guarantee of the fulfilment of objectives: a constant search for the best qualitative characteristics of the products, the maintenance of a quality-price ratio that allows for a growing diffusion of the products, both on the Italian market and the foreign ones, continuing and honouring the intelligent initiatives of the first associated vine-dressers. |
